Smoked Cornish Game Hens

The perfect special dinner for your small family, or if you want to add a touch of elegance to your dinner party. This recipe uses common spices, that you probably have on hand, to create a delicious alternative to roast chicken or turkey. It’s a simple recipe, with no marinating required, and the smaller birds will cook quicker than chicken or turkey as well.

 

Ingredients

2 Cornish game hens
2 Tbsp butter, melted
1 Tbsp salt
2 tsp black pepper
1 Tbsp basil
1 tsp oregano
1 tsp thyme
1 tsp cayenne
Bradley Smoker Hickory bisquettes

Directions

1. Pat Cornish game hens dry and rub with butter.
2. Combine spices and rub all over birds.
3. Run the smoker with hickory bisquettes (pucks) at 275°F until an internal temperature of 180°F is reached.
4. Serve immediately with your desired side dishes.
