Professional P10 4 Rack Electric Smoker
Big Improvement
Really like P10. It addresses many of the issues I had with my original Bradley Smoker. Heat up time was quick. Accurate temp control. Look forward to using it when it’s cold.
Smoker Professional P10,
Awesome smoke flavor, very easy to use just set cooking times, temperature and amount of time you want to have food smoking then walk away.
P10 Pro Smoker
Did a Brisket and it came out great. About to do some Jerky. I have two Bradley Digital Smokers that are wonderful, but the P10 Pro is a step above. I have questions and comments on the new P10 Pro. First the on/off button on the display panel does not turn on or off when pushed. I have to use the on/off button on the back of the Smoker. The Guidelines user manual does not indicate how the unit should be turned on/off??? The Temperature, Cook time and Smoke Time Adjustment buttons require a conformation within 5 seconds of selection or the selection will be cancelled. A little longer time to conformation would be nice. Finally, the Firmware Update does not work if, I follow the instructions in the Manual. Do I use the flash drive that came with the unit??? Need better instructions to use this feature. Other than the above, I would highly recommend the P10 Pro. Thanks, Bob Fell

Glad that you've liked the new P10 Bob! Thanks for the review. Answering your questions, the on/off top 3 red lights are not function buttons, working only as indicator lights. And you can find the detailed explanation about turning on/off on page 10 of the owner's manual. And please check more instructions regarding the firmware and how to use the cook tool downloading a pdf file from this link: https://bit.ly/2VKaiqU Please let us know if you need assistance. Best regards
When it works...
I upgraded from a Bradley 6 rack smoker a few years ago when not too long after the P10 came out. The overall construction is better (don't have cheap plastic parts breaking off), the heating element is finally as powerful as it should have been in earlier models, and I like that the bisquette feeder is enclosed so I don't have to worry about a little rain. However, I expect much better when I pay this much for a smoker. I had an Error 6 which indicates the sensor for the bisquette burner is bad. After discussing with Bradley support they sent the replacement part (which, by the way, I couldn't order myself online). I just spent hours replacing the burner sensor and got the same error message when I fired it back up. I'm not happy. Add to this the fact that the overpriced Bradley cover I bought was totally useless, the temperature probes are ridiculously difficult to plug in, and the half-steps to making a connected smoker are frustrating (why have probes integrated with the smoker if they won't notify you on your phone? When it does work, the food is good, but I find myself trying to decide between replacing the P10 with something from another manufacturer, or taking another run at repairing this one.
Not good for true cold smoking
Unlike the old Bradleys which allow you to remote the smoke generator to keep the temperature down, the P10 generates it's smoke and heat right under the cooking box. It is IMPOSSIBLE to keep the temperatures low enough to get real cold smoking. When I do cold smoked salmon I have to pay all kinds of games with the door slightly ajar to keep my temperatures managable and below 65 degrees. Otherwise they climg to 90 and beyond. Frankly, I don't know how high they will go becuase I intervened. This winter I am having to use a remote smoke generator from SmokeAI jury-rigged to generate smoke outside the box and pipe it into the P10. VERY disappointing given how much this device cost and how I was assured it was good for cold smoking fish and cheese, etc. Hot smoking is great, but that doesn't help me with this. BTW - controls are somewhat cyrptic.
