Smoked Maple Marinated Pork Tenderloin Recipe

Tastes as good as it looks and it takes only 2 – 3 hours to get ready. While most traditional meats for smokers require at least 6 hours, pork tenderloin will be ready when internal temperature reaches 160 F. To make sure, always have an instant thermometer at hand.

Ingredients

1 Pork tenderloin, silver skin and fat removed

Marinade:

4 Cloves garlic - minced

2 Tbsp Dijon mustard

½ Cup maple syrup

1 Tsp salt

½ Tsp pepper

1 Tbsp vegetable oil

Preparation

Whisk together the ingredients for the marinade.

Place tenderloin and marinade ingredients in a freezer bag, and allow to marinate overnight in the fridge.

Remove the tenderloin from the marinade.

Smoke for 2½ - 3 hours in preheated smoker at 225°F with maple bisquettes. Remove from smoker once an internal temperature of 160°F is reached.
